Circadian Rhythm & Lighting Systems

Circadian rhythm is essential for our health and well-being, as it helps us adapt to the changing environment and optimize our bodily processes. However, sometimes our circadian rhythm can be disrupted by factors such as jet lag, shift work, artificial light, or irregular sleep habits. These systems can adjust the brightness, color temperature, and timing of light according to our needs and preferences. For example, they can provide bright blue light in the morning to stimulate alertness and energy, and dim warm light in the evening to promote relaxation and sleep. They can also help us adjust to different time zones or work schedules by gradually shifting our exposure to light.
